wow that's all I can say!!! I live in Port Sorell and for the first time in my life saw a white goshawk going for the kill at the little sparrows who are in abundance in my backyard. A week ago I thought I saw a brownish hawk, and looking at your site I think it was the darker version of the goshawk. They are amazing birds, never seen anything like it before :)
First of all, thank you to all the wonderful people who give of their time and energy to look after OUR wonderful animals!!!! I live in the Grampians area of Victoria and see a lot of dead animals by the roadside. I stop and check each one and was able to pass along an injured echidna. I learnt more reading your website and LOVED the photographs. Best regards to you all, Bev.
Thank you all you wonderful people for your hard work. Ive lived in Sandford on the Eastern shore for 3 years and feel frustrated and saddened by the amount of roadkill here and throughout Tas. I have talked to people from Dept. of roads and they are sympathetic but apparently lack funds to erect signs. I want to learn more about our wildlife and how I can help them so that I can administer help immediately instead of ringing many numbers only to be referred to someone else who inevitably is not in their office right now.Could you let me know which courses are the best to do? I would love to visit you some time, is that possible? Thanks again, Maree.
